Water Walk
Hillcrest Park at 2 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2007
Giant puppets, eccentric characters, stiltwalker…
We were led by a bossy emcee up the stairs to vantage points along the escarpment which give a vista of the city. Then an exuberant conductor led the participants in recreating water sounds which attracted a great blue heron back to this ancient shoreline.
Featuring Elizabeth Cinello as the emcee, Abigail Elwood as the heron, Nano Valverde as the conductor, and the wonderful giant puppets of Red Pepper Spectacle Arts. Art @ Liberty gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council.
